# Appointments, classes and memberships

> Let the agent book appointments with the right staff, fill group classes, sell memberships, and send reminders, without double-booking.

The **Bookings** module is for salons, spas, clinics, tutors, studios and any business that sells time. It switches on when you pick one of those kinds of business, or from **Settings → Modules**.

## Set up

Open **Bookings → Setup** and add:

- **Services**, with duration and price.
- **Staff**, with the services each person does.
- **Weekly hours** for the business and each person, and **time off**.

Under **Agent → Booking rules** you decide how the agent books.

## What the agent does

A customer asks "Can I get a haircut tomorrow evening?". The agent lists services, finds free slots with the right person, books, and confirms. Customers can also ask for their bookings, cancel or reschedule in the chat. Two people can never get the same slot: availability is checked at the moment of booking.

## Group sessions

Give a service a **capacity** and fixed start times to run classes: yoga at 7:00, tuition batch at 17:00. The agent counts seats and can book several people at once.

## Memberships

Create plans (for example "10 classes in 60 days") on the **Memberships** page. Bookings use an active membership while sessions last, and the agent can explain plans and sign customers up.

## Reminders

On WhatsApp, customers get a reminder about 24 hours before, with **Confirm** and **Cancel** buttons. A cancel frees the slot. When your team books, moves or cancels an appointment, the customer is told too. These WhatsApp messages need Pro.

## The agenda

**Bookings** shows the agenda by day. Add a booking by hand with **New**, open one to change its status, and use the Android app on the go.
