# Laundry pickups and orders

> Schedule pickups by area and time window, count items, track every step, send WhatsApp updates and give riders their own stops.

The **Laundry** module is for laundries and dry cleaners. It switches on when you pick "Laundry & dry cleaning", or from Settings → Modules.

## Set up

Add your **services** (priced per kg, per item from a rate card, or flat), **pickup windows** with how many pickups each can take, the **areas** you serve with their fees, and an express option.

## Orders, step by step

An order moves requested → scheduled → picked up → counted → washing → ready → out for delivery → delivered. Each step is logged and the customer gets a WhatsApp update with a link to a public status page.

At pickup, use the **count sheet** to tally items from the rate card or weigh the load. Add photos and print a tag.

## What the agent does

Customers ask for a pickup on chat. You choose under **Agent → Laundry rules** whether the agent books it directly or your team confirms each request. Customers can ask where their order is at any time.

## Riders

Invite riders with the **Rider** role. Riders see only their own stops on a simple page and can't open the rest of your business.

## Getting paid

Send a payment link, or mark an order paid in cash or UPI. Customers get a pickup reminder with Confirm and Reschedule buttons, and one nudge for unpaid orders.
