Connect your AI to Agent24

Use Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP app to set up and run your Agent24 business by chatting. Connect it once, approve it, then ask in your own words.

1. What you can do

Connect the AI app you already use and set up your Agent24 business by just asking. It works on your own account and only in businesses where you are an owner or admin. For example:

  • “Set up my bakery Anu Bakes in Kochi: custom cakes and brownies, open 9 to 7, closed Sunday. Make the website anu-bakes.”
  • “Teach my agent our prices: chocolate truffle ₹900 a kg, red velvet ₹1,100, orders two days ahead.”
  • “Add these 10 products from this list”, “Add a rule: wedding cakes go to the team”, “What’s still missing in my setup?”
  • “How many new leads did we get this week? Who asked about wedding cakes? Tag them VIP.”
  • “Mark the biryani sold out”, “What bookings do we have tomorrow?”, “Test my agent: ask it the price of a 2 kg cake.”

2. Before you start

  • A Agent24 account. Sign up free at agent24.in/signup; your AI app can’t make the account for you.
  • The server address: https://agent24.in/api/mcp
  • When you connect, you log in to Agent24 and choose Allow. Your AI app never sees your password.

3. Connect Claude (web and desktop)

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Agent24 and paste https://agent24.in/api/mcp as the URL.
  3. Choose Connect, log in to Agent24 and choose Allow.
  4. In a chat, turn the connector on and ask, for example, “What’s missing in my Agent24 setup?”

4. Connect Claude Code

Run this once in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http agent24 https://agent24.in/api/mcp

Then start claude, type /mcp, pick agent24 and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens: log in and choose Allow. Now ask “set up my bakery”.

5. Connect ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors (custom connectors need developer mode, on plans that offer it) and create a connector.
  2. Paste https://agent24.in/api/mcp as the server URL and pick OAuth for authentication.
  3. Log in to Agent24 when asked and choose Allow.

6. Cursor, VS Code and other MCP apps

Any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth works. Most read a JSON file like this (Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "agent24": { "url": "https://agent24.in/api/mcp" }
  }
}

The app opens your browser the first time; log in and choose Allow.

7. What it can do

Read (every member)

  • Your businesses and your role in each, and a dashboard: messages, new leads, reply time, chats handed to your team.
  • What’s set up and what’s missing, your settings, what your agent knows, its instructions, rules and style.
  • Customers in your CRM with their details, notes and recent chat; orders, appointments, stays and laundry orders.
  • Products, services, rooms and the menu; website visits and chats.
  • Try your agent: send it a message as a pretend customer in your private test chat and see its reply.

Set up and change (owners and admins)

  • Create a business: profile, AI-written instructions, the modules your category needs and your free website.
  • Business profile: description, category, hours, reply languages, currency and time zone, phone and social links.
  • Teach your agent with notes and links, change its instructions, rules, style and the details it collects.
  • Turn your agent on or off, and switch modules on or off.
  • Add and change products, services, staff, room types, dishes, menu categories and laundry services; mark a dish sold out.
  • Add customers to your CRM, change their stage, add notes and tags.
  • Upload your logo and photos of products, services, rooms and dishes, documents for your agent to read (price lists, menus) and step-by-step guides.
  • Your website’s address, its suggested questions, and switching it on or off.

8. What it can’t do

  • Reach your customers, delete anything or change who has access on its own. A reply, a booking or order, a restock, a delete, a team invite, a webhook or a domain is only asked for: you get a link, read what will happen in plain words and tap Approve (or don’t) in the app.
  • Connect WhatsApp or Instagram: those need you to log in to Meta.
  • Pay, upgrade or change billing, or add payment keys.

Connecting WhatsApp or Instagram, payment keys and paying stay with you in the browser: they need your own sign-in to Meta, secret keys or a card. Ask your AI app and it gives you a link that opens the right page of the right business.

9. Staying safe

  • The Allow screen says which app is asking and where it sends you back. A known app (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) gets a tick; an app that uses a known name but goes somewhere else gets a red warning. Don’t allow apps you didn’t start connecting yourself.
  • See and remove connected apps any time in Settings → Account → Connected apps. A removed app loses access straight away.
  • Every change an AI app makes is logged: owners and admins see it under Settings → Account → Connected apps (which app, as whom, what and when).
  • It can make at most 30 changes a minute, and every change follows the same rules and plan limits as the app.
  • Things your customers wrote are passed to your AI app marked as theirs, so a message can’t tell your AI app what to do.
Treat an AI app with access like a team member: check big changes (new instructions, many products) before you ask it to save them.

10. For developers
