Teach your agent
Give the agent your knowledge: instructions, files, links, notes, step-by-step guides and the way you talk to customers.
Updated 2 November 2026
Your agent answers only from what you give it. The Teach your agent card is first on the Agent page. Everything you add there is used in every reply on every channel: WhatsApp, Instagram, your website and the test chat.
Instructions
The instructions are the agent's brief: who you are, what you sell, how to talk, what matters. The AI writes a first version during the guided start. Open the Agent page to edit it in plain words. Short and specific beats long and general.
Files
Upload a price list, menu, brochure, catalogue or FAQ as PDF, a photo, or an Office file (up to 10 MB each). The agent reads the file and keeps a fact sheet of what is in it. Only the text is kept.
Links
Add a page from your own website or a public Google Doc. The agent reads the page and you can press Update when it changes. Social profiles like Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps and YouTube can't be read, but you can still add them: the agent shares them when a customer asks for them. Give each link a name so the agent knows when to use it.
Notes
A note is a fact in your own words: "We are closed on the second Saturday", "Parking is behind the building". Notes are stored exactly as written.
Guides
A guide answers a "how do I" question step by step, with a screenshot for each step: how to find your shop, how to use a voucher, how to pay by UPI. When a customer asks, the agent sends the steps as pictures on WhatsApp and as cards on the web chat.
How you talk
Want the agent to sound like you? In How you talk, upload an export of one of your WhatsApp chats, or type a usual conversation. The AI writes a short style guide: your greetings, the words you use, your mix of languages, emoji or not. Numbers, emails and links are masked in your browser and the chat itself is never stored. Edit the guide and save.
Check your work
Use the test chat on the Agent page after every change. It runs the same engine as your live channels, so what you see there is what customers get. The test chat suggests questions a customer is likely to ask.
The agent never makes up prices or facts. If it doesn't know, it says a person will reply and tells your team.
