Your data, privacy and deleting your account

Your chats, contacts and files belong to your business.

What we do and don't do

• Your data is never used to train AI models.
• Your WhatsApp and payment keys are encrypted at rest.
• Each business's data is kept apart from every other business's.
• Read the full privacy policy.

How long chats are kept

In Settings → Privacy, the owner chooses to keep chats forever, or for 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. Older messages and voice notes are then deleted automatically every day.

Delete a contact

Deleting a contact deletes their chat and voice notes too.

Delete your account

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. You see exactly what will be deleted first. We email you a confirmation link. Businesses you own alone are deleted with everything in them; in businesses you share with another owner, you only leave. You can also start from the public delete your account page.

AI apps you connected

If you connected Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to your account, Settings → Account → Connected apps lists them, shows what they changed, and removes them instantly.
